The Resara team is proud to release Resara Server 1.1! Its been a very exciting year for Resara Server, with new users all over the world ranging from small businesses with a handful of employees, to large enterprises with thousands of users and computers. The priorities for the 1.1 release were infrastructure improvements, scalability, and overall refinement. With this release comes multi-server replication for redundancy and expansion for large networks, a new installable ISO to make setup and configuration even easier, and many other features and improvements.

• Dynamic DNS update support

After over a year of development, we are proud to announce the release of Resara Server 1.0! With this release, we consider Resara Server ready for production use. It has been extensively tested by our beta sites for over 4 months. This release is mainly bug fixes and polishing. We are proud to announce the release of Resara Server Alpha3. This is mainly a bug fix release. Users of Alpha2 or earlier are strongly encouraged to update to this release.

For years we have been frustrated by the lack of quality, simple, cost effective alternatives for Microsoft based server solutions, and we haven't been alone. After a year of development, we are finally ready to launch the first Alpha release of our new open source software product, Resara Server.  

Resara Server is a simple, powerful server solution designed for use on small business networks.  Its features are focused on the core needs of basic network management, such as provisioning a domain, user and computer management, file sharing, and drive mapping.  More features will be coming soon, but I think you will be impressed with how powerful Resara Server already is.
